Our large AED family isunited for a common cause

It’s not a secret for anyone that working at Automobile En Direct is also being part of a big family.

Since the company was established in 2001, there have been many actions taken in order to contribute to a variety of good causes. Since 2022, we raise the bar and define a clear plan to offer concrete help to those around us. The entire family has decided to join forces, step on the accelerator and give a lot of love to a good cause that is dear to our hearts, that of children in need.

It was by asking our president Sébastien, who himself is particularly sensitive to the cause of children, that everything fell into place.

That is how our six locations, as well as our call center, came to join hands with a local organisation or foundation that helps children: whether their mission concerns food or other insecurity, learning difficulties, social development or health.

In 2022, each of our branches and their employees got involved by organizing a variety of fundraising activities such as a benefit show, a poker night, a car wash, a comedy night, a golf tournament, and a boxing gala. Some of them also took part in the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie!

In 2023, our 5 branches came together and organized the company's grand golf tournament.This tournament raised $65,000!This amount was donated to the same 5 foundations and organizations.

In 2024, our five branches came together to organize the company’s annual grand golf tournament. This tournament raised a record amount of $100,000! All profits were donated to five foundations and organizations that make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of children and teenagers in need.

In 2025, the enthusiasm for our famous golf tournament continues. Thanks to our efforts and our generous partners, we managed to raise $140,000 — a new record for the event. The proceeds were donated to five foundations and organizations that continue to make a difference in their community.

The AED Big Food Drive: a real tradition!

During December every year the AED Big Food Drive returns.

It is the moment of the year when our employees and clients mobilize to collect food items, essential hygiene products and clothing.

The items we collect are donated to various local organizations of the Laval area, the South Shore of Montreal as well as the West Island.

All the actions taken as part of these charitable operations perfectly reflect the corporate values that we advocate.

A special mention to our cherished employees with hearts of gold, who volunteered their time and energy to organize and perform these activities. An enormous thanks to our families, friends and valued business partners who participated in these events and who gave generously. We are sincerely touched and truly honoured to be able to make a difference and to have a positive impact on the children around us.

Giving back to the children of our community will always be a priority for Automobile En Direct.
